At the age of eleven she decided to further her knowledge by being accepted into and attending the National Ballet School of Canada’s professional training program. There Kaylie trained with some of Canada’s finest dance instructors and former professional dancers that left a lasting influence on her as a dancer.

Kaylie’s love for dance continued to present her with opportunities that led her to attend the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School’s summer intensive multiple times as well as train with the Quinte Ballet School of Canada as a part of their Professional Training Program. It was at the Quinte Ballet School that Kaylie was taught under the direction of John Ottman and Andrew Parker. Kaylie had the experience of working with and being taught by many other famous dancers and choreographers including Etienne Lavinge, Greta Hodgkinson, Alina Adjemian, Roberto Camponella, Gizella Witkowsky, Peter Ottman and many others. As an instructor Kaylie has much experience in preparing students of all levels for their performances. Working with both recreational and competitive levels, her attention to detail has helped each of her students achieve their personal best.

Kaylie’s passion for the performing arts has caused her to continue her dance education at the post-secondary level. She currently attends Ryerson University in Toronto for Performance Dance and continues to immerse herself in the dance world. The training she has received from Step with Style and the experience she has gained from all of the opportunities she has been presented make her a confident and caring instructor.
