My daughter was only 2yrs when we joined Step. I knew she loved dance because it was all she did at home. When I got her to the studio she cried. I was worried but the staff were so patient. They warned us parents that toddlers take time for consistency in schedule, surroundings and fear of new people to settle and they were right! Right at the 3 month mark that they had mentioned when I first joined she turned right around! Their experience and knowledge made the world of difference in our time there. My daughter ended up loving it so much she went on to be a competitive dancer and never cried again after that! I am so thankful for the SWS staff and their love and patience without their love and support Taylor would not have been able to explore her love for dance. Now after many years we have been involved in different programs here. We did Recreational, Competitive cuties, Fulltime and now are involved in Part time. I love that the studio works so hard at finding the right program to suit our families changing needs. It means so much to have a place like this in our lives.”

Not only is the training both technical and artistic performing opportunities unmatched by other places they are very helpful with costs. Having multiple dancers can be hard. My little guys started dancing at Step with Style when they were toddlers. It can be overwhelming for parents in new situations like this with your toddlers as you never know how they will behave but my experience at Step has been INCREDIBLE! The office manager Rene and the incredibly kind teachers really helped us settle in. They are patient when your kiddos have bad days and always available to help with new parents learning how to manage shows and events. They really know what they are doing to help us parents adjust and on top of that the training is top notch!”

I started in the recreational program. Dance was not something I ever thought I would take up more than a class a week. Turned out I really loved it! So glad my parents put me in and the SWS faculty saw my potential! I was really late when I started. I moved from Break Crew into part time competitive in my teens. The teachers never gave up and worked with me on every goal I set. I fell in love with dance and it became a huge part of who I was… so much so years later I had worked hard enough to take on instructing! My daughter came to Mandy with no self-confidence and a shaky outlook on her continued education in dance after leaving one studio. After the first class, Mandy came and spoke to me and had all positive comments about what she saw and the one that struck me was, “I can’t wait to see her in 4 years”. I also have to note that the lack of self-confidence was recognized by Mandy right away and they started to correct it. Now, the beginning of her 4th year at SWS and I am so impressed with what I see; a beautiful , confident young lady who’s style is maturing and becoming her own and technique/performance that has continued to improve with each year. The team spirit is incredible and all the extra’s like workshops, get together’s and studio parties bond these girls and boys for a lifetime.
